What can I say about Dana and AJ? Well first, we met at the Mission while I was shooting another engagement session. There sat AJ, hands sweating, nervously watching us. “Hey, are you doing an engagement shoot”, he asked? Yes, we replied! “I am about to ask my girlfriend of 10 years to marry me”….. The wonderful couple I was photographing said, “drop everything, you NEED to get this on camera”! So I hid out in the bushes while AJ asked Dana for her hand in marriage. AJ cried, Dana cried, I cried! It was beautiful.
Fast forward to last weekend, we decide to do their engagement shoot in Newport Beach’s Fun Zone (yes, I did end up booking their wedding). What I love about these two is they are kind of zanny! They brought their first child, Lola, along and she was a great addition to the day. My favorite part was when they pulled out mouse ears that were personalized, and even included their pup! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year. I am sure it will be filled with plenty of laughter and love! Enjoy
