Isn’t it interesting that within two weeks the holiday decor has been removed and replaced with pinks, reds, and whites in celebration of St. Valentine’s Day? Well, this year let your kids share the families love with these great gift ideas:
- Painted Glass Containers for a bouquet of flowers (using acrylic paint is the best, but please note it will not last forever)
- Homemade Pictures Frames to put Blue Sky’s photographs of your little gems as angels (Micheals has the frames) (sign up for our Valentine’s Day special for your shoot today- click on the specials tab at the top)
- Baked Breads (Cranberry bread even has red specks, all you need is a pink or white plate and dish towel)
- Make Luminaries with glass baby-food jars (just cut up tissue paper into different shapes and let the kids Mod Podge [found at any craft store] the glass and the tissue, slip in a tea-lite candle and wrap it us)
Hope that you enjoy these craft ideas. If you have more feel free to email them to us at blueskysstudio@gmail.com or post a comment! The more ideas the better, especially with the Martin Luther King holiday coming up!
Check back soon for some of Blue Sky’s Valentine’s Day photography and cards.

Hey there readers! We are trying to put together some testimonials of your Blue Sky’s experiences for our website, but need your help! If you would like to say something about your photography or review session, prints, canvas, album, or anything to that nature (it can be good, critical, indifferent, ect), please send us an e-mail at blueskysstudio@gmail.com. Parents, you can write it or let the kids have some input, or even ask those who you gave the prints as gifts to!
We really appreciate your time and effort!

Wow, we are sure lucky to live in beautiful Southern California. How many people can brag that they spend Christmas Day on the beach? My family opened presents early headed straight to Treasure Island (the Montage beach). Here are a few snap shots from our day together.
The Kids trying to stay dry!
All I wanted from Christmas was my two front teeth, thanks Santa!
Christmas Love!

Even on Christmas day he still runs into his buddies on the beach.
We hope you all had a beautiful holiday season.

May I ask, how is 2008 here all ready? It’s almost as though 2007 was missing a few months… strange how fast it went. BUT now that 2008 is here there is lots more to do!
I have been setting personal goals for 2008 and wanted to share them with you:
-
to live a more healthy, balanced lifestyle (the most popular resolution each year)
-
to photograph as many moments with family and fiends as possible (and have them printed)
-
to remember be thankful to all those influencing my life, no matter how trivial it may seem
-
and Lastly for all you guys… to blog more often Blue Sky’s news
What are your goals? If we share number two in common don’t forget to let Blue Sky’s help you commemorate event parties and different age changes for your family.
Thank you for supporting Blue Sky’s through out 2007. We look forward to seeing the changes that the new year will bring to all of our family.
Remember to sign up for our monthly news letter on the right hand side and start receiving Blue Sky’s promotions and photography tips (NEW! for 2008). We have some unique ideas for the near future: first Valentine’s Day and then Spring. But if you have ideas of your own feel free to e-mail (blueskysstudio@gmail.com) us or comment on this post.
Thank you all and Happy New Year!!! Let’s make 2008 Great!
-Jinna (Blue Sky’s Studio Manager)
