I can’t tell you how grateful I am for this family and especially the beautiful woman in these photographs. Jenny has been such an awesome help to me so many times, I couldn’t wait to take photos of her family. We got the chance to go to the Mesa Verde Country Club in Costa Mesa to take these beautiful photos. The lighting was perfect and the weather was great. There were so many great fall colors surrounding us, it was so hard to stay in one spot. I’m so happy with how all the photos came out and I can’t wait to show Jenny the rest of the photos. I hope you enjoy these few shots as much as I do.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Danielle Clemens from Studio DC Salon in Laguna Beach. She is fun, creative, an incredibly hard worker and a great business woman! So when she asked me earlier this year to help her execute her idea for a holiday card, I jumped at the chance. We had such a great time on this shoot and I think her son was in heaven when we poured the cereal on the floor and put the frosting out and told him to “have at it”! Enjoy!

This year we decided that everyone needed to be in the family holiday photographs, so we all met down in San Juan Capistrano! It is always fun to work with kids that you have some history with and this is the second year we have shot the Cronin’s holiday photographs. All went great, until we asked the baby to pose with her brothers! She obviously would rather write checks than sit on either brothers lap, and who can blame her? She is an independent girl. Gretchen and I just seem to run into each other in so many different circles, so I was thrill to get the call from her that she wanted to do a “funky” family shoot in San Juan Capistrano. This crew was up for anything and we had a great time scouting for locations. They even drove across town to my favorite abandon car so we could get a shot (we aren’t sure if this is private property so we really tried to stay low profile!).
